Essential Duties & Responsibilities:     

 

  • Manage the manufacturing team including mentoring and developing staff.
  • Contribute & implement to the rolling 21 day plan for Operations
  • Set and manage performance targets for Production Associates.
  • Interface with Director of Programs.
  • Contribute to the development of the businesses to deliver stable products & processes.
  • Work alongside Quality to deliver world class reliability.

Key Skills

  • Experience in the manufacture of electro-mechanical products.
  • Experience in packaging and labeling of products.  
  • Communication, influencing, negotiating and assertiveness.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Broad technical skills and knowledge of implementation across a wide range of industries.
  • Decision making, sound business judgment.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing in a high volume environment.
  • Experience of implementation of new manufacturing lines.
  • Quality management / delivering Customer requirements.
  • Experience with project management.
  • Able to instill discipline their team.
  • Ability to use MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.   Knowledge or experience with databases a bonus.
