Position Summary:
The Desktop Support Technician works closely with the C.I.O, System & Security Administrator, Business
Analyst, in addition to many other company employees.

Essential Functions:

  •  Windows PC administration along with tablet and mobile devices
  •  Administration of 200 + users through Microsoft Active Directory
  •  Maintain and support network printers, copiers, and fax machines
  •  Assist in maintaining telecommunication infrastructure
  •  Support and troubleshooting of remote site network infrastructure and file shares
  •  Trains users in related systems and processes
  •  Assist C.I.O. in both physical and virtual server maintenance
  •  Test and evaluate existing network systems
  •  Perform maintenance to ensure proper functioning of network
  •  Assist in maintaining system backups.
  •  Assists with helpdesk calls and tickets

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Other Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field
  •  2 + years’ experience in administering Windows based systems
  • Proficiency in Windows 10 and Microsoft Office including Office 365
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to communicate and work well with others
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Remote administration
  • Knowledge of networking components and IP addresses
  • SharePoint Online administration and configuration including the ability to create lists and workwith Microsoft Flow
  •  Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail
  • The ability to prioritize, self-manage and seek help when necessary
  • Ability and willingness to work in a team atmosphere
  • Strong documentation and communication skills


  • SharePoint administration
  • SonicWALL or other firewall experience
  • A+ certifications
